Demonstrating the love of Christ through action

Our humanitarian outreach responds to hardship where we find it, in homes, in markets, and in communities that have been overlooked. Teams visit, listen, and provide support based on what people actually need rather than what is convenient to give.

The work concentrates around two moments in the year. In December the Foundation runs its Christmas outreach, the largest single gathering in our calendar. At Easter we run a dedicated outreach for widows, orphanages and people in acute need.

Food and material distribution is the most immediate form of relief we provide. Parcels typically include staple foods such as rice, noodles, eggs and cooking essentials, alongside household materials.

Distribution is organised so that people receive with dignity and without conditions. Families queue, are greeted, and leave with what they came for. No one is asked to prove need in front of their neighbours.

Widows carry a particular weight in many of the communities we serve. Loss of a husband often means loss of income, standing and security all at once.

Our Easter outreach is built substantially around widows. Alongside food and material support, the emphasis is on empowerment, helping women rebuild an income and a footing of their own.

We support orphans and vulnerable children through practical provision, care and celebration. Orphanages are a specific focus of the Easter outreach.

Children are not treated as a category to be processed. Outreach days include activities, games and gifts, because childhood is part of what the Foundation is trying to protect.

Relief meets an urgent need. Skills change a trajectory. Our vocational empowerment work helps people learn a trade, access tools and build a livelihood that outlasts any single intervention.

That includes practical starting capital where it makes the difference, such as livestock and equipment that let a household begin earning rather than waiting.

Healthcare outreach brings medical attention to communities where distance or cost keeps people from seeking care. Our work at the Federal Medical Centre in Epe is part of this.

Programmes are delivered with qualified practitioners. The Foundation does not offer medical advice or treatment outside of that.

Community development is the long work. Initiatives that strengthen local capacity and create opportunity within a community rather than for it.

It is the reason the Foundation returns to the same places year after year rather than moving on. Twenty communities across Lagos and Kwara States have an ongoing relationship with this work, not a single visit.
