Where we work
Not a single visit each. These are places the Foundation returns to, where relationships have been built over years of outreach.

Who we are
Christ Heart Empowerment for Africa is a faith based non governmental organisation founded in 1998 by Pastor Olufemi Samuel and Mrs. Victoria Samuel. What began as a commitment to demonstrate the love of Christ through practical service has grown into 28 years of humanitarian work.
We work alongside communities rather than simply arriving in them. Relief where hardship is immediate, empowerment where the need runs deeper, and a relationship that continues after the day ends.
Read more about the FoundationWe do not only speak about the love of Christ. We demonstrate it through action.
What we do
Seven areas of work, shaped by what communities have actually asked for over nearly three decades.

In the field
The Christmas outreach is the largest single day in the Foundation calendar. Volunteers, partners and members of the community come together to prepare and distribute food, share a meal, and spend time with the families we serve.
The day includes food and material distribution, activities and gifts for children, and dedicated time with widows and elderly members of the community.

Our founders
The love of Christ should not only be spoken, but demonstrated through action.
They founded Christ Heart Empowerment for Africa together in 1998, on a conviction that has not changed in 28 years: that compassion is something people should be able to receive, not only hear about.
Their leadership has kept the Foundation close to the ground, present in communities and responsive to real need, across nearly three decades of service.
